Our mission
Our mission is to advance minimally invasive surgery by developing reusable, articulating surgical instruments that combine precision, cost-efficiency, and sustainability.
By reducing reliance on complex and disposable tools, we aim to deliver advanced surgical instruments while lowering costs and medical waste for hospitals and surgeons.
Our background
SATA Medical is a MedTech spin-off from Delft University of Technology (TU Delft).
The SATA technology originated from research led by Prof. Dr. Tim Horeman. This research evolved into a practical, reusable instrument platform developed in close collaboration with surgeons and engineers. Today, SATA Medical brings this innovation to the operating room.
